Finke's Berry Farm - Nine miles
southwest of Carlton:
From the Duluth area - Take I-35 to the Mahtowa exit (#227),
turn left (east) and drive 2 miles to a stop sign; turn left (north)
and drive 1 mile, turn right. You'll see the farm sign ahead.
From Hwy. 23 (from connecting
roads to Hwy. 23 out of Wisconsin): From Highway 23, turn west onto County
Road 4. Stay on County Road 4 for 10 miles and the farm will be on
the right. If you come to a T-intersection, you just passed our
driveway.
From Cloquet/Esko area take the
Black Bear Casino exit - Turn left off the exit onto Hwy
210; in 1/8 mile turn right onto County Road 61. Drive 4 miles on
61; turn left onto County Road 5; drive 3 miles; turn left onto
County Road 4 (power station on corner). The farm sign is just
ahead.
From the south - Barnum, Moose
Lake, Twin Cities, etc. - Take I-35 to the Mahtowa exit (#227);
turn right and drive 2 miles to the stop sign; turn left and go 1
mile; turn right (at the power station). The farm sign is just
ahead.
