    1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
Combine the above in a 9x13 pan and bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Mix together and place on cooled crust:
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. Cool Whip, thawed

Layer 3 cups strawberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.

For glaze, cook together 1/4 cup flour, 1 cup water, and 3 T. strawberry gelatin until thickened. Cool and drizzle over strawberries.
(As an alternate glaze, you could use the glaze from the strawberry pie recipe.)
Cover pan with foil and store in refrigerator.
